Our exotic vegetable range is not the place for anything you won’t have seen before, more just something that most people wouldn’t put into their shopping basket on a routine basis. Perennial favourite asparagus makes an appearance here, in this case hailing from Peru, and makes an excellent addition to a sauce or salad.

We also include the Ambo potato here, purely on the basis that, as a variety, it doesn’t yet quite have the standing of a national staple, such as the King Edward. Tending to be bigger than your standard spud, it makes a great jacket potato as there’s plenty of room for a variety of fillings.

Here at Strongs of Lytham we know that you enjoy picking up something different once in a while and we may add or modify what is available here depending on season and availability – so why not make a choice from this part of our range.
