spring 2024 in lytham

hello again been a long time since i’ve had a chance to catch ip online,
the hectic life of a green grocer!!
anyway spring is here and already we have English Asparagus!!
it’s selling well too
indoor spring cabbage just arrived too
we’re currently missing new potatoes as only washed small potatoes available hopefully jersey potatoes will be available soon and local not far behind normally easter is the start date.
citrus fruits are in peak season, nadacots are perfect, easy to peel sweet and no seeds !!
were selling boxes every day
just now we have giant paw paw from the canary islands a new crop for them, there like a melon in some ways orange inside
give them a try .
south African cherries are brilliant to so big you need a knife and fork to eat them!!!
not cheap but a nice treat .
Spanish strawberries have good flavour raspberries and blueberries all good too
large south African plums are juicy and sweet at the moment ideal for snacking on,
come and have a stroll down Clifton street in lytham and treat yourself.
