Easter 2022

Hi everyone,
So Easter is nearly upon us and as usual our produce is at its best with new season crops coming in daily.
This month we have best English tomatoes firm and full of flavour along with English asparagus local new potatoes beautiful cauliflower grown locally in Southport.
Dutch produce is currently coming through with better quality pepper’s aubergines and lovely cherry vine tomatoes.
Strawberries are fantastic from Holland at the moment too
I’ve seen the first English but I think they need a week or two yet to be just right .
We’ve had a few goose eggs too which are a beautiful treat and only available for a short period around this time of year .
The yokes are huge and the white a little firmer that a hen egg but they taste wonderful.
Hopefully the weather will be nice for the Easter break so we can all get out in the garden to enjoy the break
