August update

well hi again, nearly another month gone so quickly. We have been busy on the high street in July with peaches and necktarines and all the summer lettuces being the stars.For August we have good news and bad, the bad first the Billberry crop has been destroyed by bad rain in Poland so no pies this year sorry.On a cheerier note the first Damsons arrived this week so jams pies and damson gin are on the cards.The long awaited Victoria plums should be here within a week or two so make the most of them short but sweet season as it is,dont forget to freeze a few for a great winter desert on those dark days.
